1. WIZ KID
Wiz kid came as that young 16 year star boy from surulere under the EME Records owned by Banky W. His First single "Holla at your boy" quickly sky rocketed him as the youngest rave of the moment. He then added more songs like "Pakurumo", "I love my baby" which melted the hearts of many Nigerians. And today WIZ KID has grown from that little boy to a multi talented artiste that owns his own record label and manages artistes like LAX.
2. DAVIDO
Davido came into the music industry with the OMO BABA OLOWO (Rich mans's Child) swag, his first debuted single "Back When" featuring Naeto C quickly shot him to stardom then quickly followed with his next single "E ma da mi duro". Back then he was only 19 and was shuffling school (Babcock University) and his music career. Davido has since then grown into one of the Top selling Artistes in Nigeria.
3. OLAMIDE
Olamide but popularly called Baddo from Bariga, Lagos State who sprung up around the untimely death of Dagrin with the Single "Eni Duro" which made many people realize he spat good lyrics with his native language "Yoruba". The young erikina started his own record
label YBNL Nation around 2012. His creativity got him the Ciroc deal . Olamide was the first Nigerian to sign an endorsement deal with Ciroc. He has since then released several hits like "Young Erikina", "Stupid Love", "Voice of The Street" and the raving single Today "Shakitibobo.
4. DBANJ
D'Banj the Koko Master who likes to be called Eja Nla now stormed our screens in Nigeria with his then partner and producer Don JAzzy. The pair returned to Lagos in 2004. That same year came the single "Tongolo". His first endorsement was with an energy drink called Power Fist. Since that break he released several hits until he broke up his partnership with Don jazzy and signed on with Kanye West Good Music then his music career started a downward spiral. He owns a record Label now {DB Records) that signed artistes like 2Kirs, Kayswitch, Tonto Dike, etc.
5. TIMAYA
Timaya came with that Niger Delta activist style and hit our screens with the Single "Dem Mama", He recorded seven more songs for his first album True Story Album that talked about his story and the suffers of the Niger Delta people which Later In 2011 got him appointed a Peace Ambassador by the Inter religious and International Federation for World Peace for his story in the single "Dem Mama".
Timaya has since then released good songs like Pangolo, Bum Bum, etc.
6. TIWA SAVAGE
Tiwa came with that yankee music writer and back up singer twist and before we knew it rocked our world with the release of her first single "Kele Kele Love". The single got good reviews and many people knew with such talent and voice, she was here to stay for a very long time. The music video for the single was co-directed by Tiwa and Tee Billz. Tee Billz is now her husband and currently her manager. After winning several awards she went on and signed to Mavin records owned by Don JAzzy and later released several songs with the Don himself, including the hit song "Eminado"
